Common law marks are generally brand names in commercial use whose names may never have been registered as trademarks. You can search a variety of sources to determine if your proposed mark has ever been mentioned.
Words in Brand Name
Enter words that must appear in the brand name or product name. Example: MOCHA MARVEL will find mocha marvel, marvelous mocha, mocha with fudge marvels, etc.
Exact Brand Name
Enter words that must be part of the complete brand name or product name. Example MOCHA MARVEL will find mocha marvel, blue mocha marvel but not marvelous mocha, etc.
