Words in Trademark
You can find out if there are marks matching one or more whole words (book) or whole phrases (mr peanut).
U.S. Class Title
Enter words that describe broad subject classes of trademarks. For different word endings, use the ? wildcard: TOY? Combine words to get specific information. Example: TOY? AND (VEHICLE? OR CAR?)
Company
Enter the name of the trademark owner, plaintiff or defendant. For example, SILICON GRAPHICS. Do NOT include words like Corp., Inc., etc.
Registration Number
Enter the number with all punctuation and spaces. It is not necessary to include a country code. Example: 1,345,000.
Court State
Enter the name of the state to search all district courts in that state. You can enter either the state name (ALABAMA) or its postal abbreviation (AL). To search multiple states, use OR. For example: NY OR NJ OR PA.
Registration or Filing Year
Leave this blank unless you need to focus the search by year. For fastest processing, use the smallest year range you need.
